I would like to take this time to welcome you to our new family forum designed to provide information and interaction. I have a passion for gathering family. Hang around long enough and you can become our "folk" too!

This forum's primary focus is "the family" that is slowly becoming extinct. I'm sure you will agree that there are "real life" issues out there which plague our families. Here, we can bring them to the table, discuss them and together come up with solutions. We can also smile, laugh and even cry together if need be. That's what family does...right?

We welcome everyone including your family, friends, co-workers, email buddies, etc.. to register and participate. We're never too old to learn and there is much we can gain from each other by way of our knowledge, failures and accomplishments. It's just a matter of our willingness to share! Feel free to reply and start threads in the related areas with topics that interest you....

Please note courtesy and respect is always in order. Therefore, we have established a few housekeeping rules for the benefit of all.

1. Profanity is strictly prohibited.

2. Rude and disruptive behavior will lead to being banned from the bulletin board forum.

3. Feel free to passionately express your thoughts and opinions. They are individually respected. However, be courteous and mature enough to agree to disagree when necessary.

4. Gossip, heresay and tearing down others is prohibited.

5. For your own personal protection, do not post your email address in any open forum.

6. Weblinks that are sexually explicit & racially motivated are prohibited.

7. Bigotry and hatred will not be tolerated.

8. In America we are blessed with the freedom of religion. Having respect of one's choice is always in order. Discussing our differences, learning from them and getting an understanding about them is a much better approach. Always remembering that, "one who winneth souls is wise".

9. Solicitation for monetary donations in public forums is prohibited.

10. Guests are welcome to view available topics. However, you must be a registered member to post threads and participate in the discussions.

11. Passwords for the Men & Women Only forums are required.

12. The family forums are visable to those who have registered and are restricted only to it's members. A password must be received from the Administrator to gain access.

13. All advertisements are being powered by Goooooogle and are authorized by the server owner of this site. The Administrator for "The Family Connection" has no authority or can regulate it's contents.

This is a dynamic vehicle for communication that can broaden your thinking, understanding and views regarding yourself, community, religion, politics and people from various cultures and backgrounds throughout the country. We come from all walks of life and are in various parts of the world. So, use this discussion forum to your advantage to reach out and touch someone else.
